The skate deck had a good layer of sugar snow on it and the tracks were eroded in spots and icy in others. Was the skiing perfect? No, but skiing was pleasant if not super fast. I am continually amazed at what our groomers have done with such sparse resources.

Elm Creek has been very good all season so far albeit just the manmade. Very consistent and fast. With the warmer weather the track isn't setting up firm. The classic track had a case of the squigglies today. Perhaps the colder weather will help it set up. Skate lane looked good but a little soft on the uphills. Snow is getting dirty.

Even with the warm weather, the man made show loop was perfect. Kudos to our groomers. Lots of folks out enjoying a well groomed skate deck and deep classic groves.

The classic track was well set and fast. I know this sounds repetitive but the snow was just about perfect. Kudos to the groomers!

Did 3 loops of the Man Made snow course w/wooden skis (Classic). Very fun. Course was fast and the tracks solid.

The man made snow loops were perfect. The classic tracks were solid and fast as was the skate deck. All in all, perfect conditions for skiing.

Enjoyed a nice quality ski with Darling Daughter this morning. Snowmaking loop was nicely groomed and not too crowded. Kudos to the groomers at Elm Creek.
