Still decent conditions this morning if you're okay with some shallow tracks and occasional freestyle. Most (95+%) of the trail is crusty snow or drift snow, with about 20 frozen ponds throughout. Only one bare spot so far. Thanks again for a great season!

It's been a fabulous skiing season but the time has come to close the trails for the season. Thank you all for your participation and feedback. Spring is right around the corner!

Great ski in the classic tracks. Kudos to the grooming crew. Only one short grass area burning thru near the driving range, but very easy to avoid on the skate side.

Here's another round of applause for Phalen and excellent grooming. The classic tracks were deep and delicious, save for one spot that got too much sun and some dirty grass poked through. A phabulous day at Phalen. I had decent kick with Swix purple except in a few shady icy sections.

Very nice ski at Phalen! Fresh groom from this morning was holding up well, only slightly soft for skating -- not really a problem. Great set of classic tracks as well. Felt like mid-January with temps in the upper 20s. Amazed by the number of people I saw out skiing on a Monday afternoon.

Great conditions today from Phalen! A complete groom on the classic and skate decks. Soft conditions out there, with a few inches of fresh snow from the weekend. Enjoy this sunshine!

Wow, my first time skiing at Phalen and I will definitely spend more time here next winter. Despite the warmth, the trails were 95 percent excellent, thanks to top-notch grooming. It was definitely slow and turning to oatmeal by the time I finished my loop at 1 pm, but I am so glad I went out today. What a fun and nice trail. Thanks groomers.

Groomed a new classic track and skate deck. Classic track is in great shape and the skate deck is a little soft on top but good base underneath. Get out and enjoy while you can.
