Spring conditions - watch the freeze/thaw cycles for the best conditions. I went a bit late today and it was getting sticky, but still firm enough for a good ski. There is plenty of snow in the woods and the base remains good in most areas. No recent grooming. Skate deck is holding well, the tracks are remnant but still being used. Ski it until it's gone!

10 AM ski on the Outer Loop. About 1/4" of new powder on top from last night. This loop hasn't been groomed since prior to Feb 25. The skate deck was very firm and there was only one bare spot underneath a big pine tree close to the bridge crossing. Despite no grooming this loop was very skiable. Classic tracks looked intact and skiable.

Tuesday evening we groomed and set new tracks on the following trails: Engagement Loop, Alternative Trail, Lighted Trail, and Short Loops. Expect fast, but good conditions on those trails. The other trails will be icy, but skiable. Have fun!

Skated the outside loop slowly this afternoon. Coverage was complete, Deck was firm, grooming was relatively recent, classic tracks solid. But warm temps made the snow slow with sub par glide and jerky hill descents.

Perfect! Wow... The Timberland crew knows how to run their new Pisten Bully. The conditions were as good as I've ever seen at Timberland. Nice short ski on my way north for Birkie weekend.

We were surprised with a few inches of fresh snow on Monday night. Today we groomed all trails (classic and skate). Looking good for the rest of Birkie week!

On Sunday night we groomed most of the skating lanes after heavy weekend use. I skied this morning and it turned out excellent. I also tried the tracks. They are also great except for a few leaves. Enjoy the trails!

Very good conditions. Firm and fast, both skating and classic. A little new snow since the last grooming is being skied-in.

After a couple of inches of new snow on Sunday, we groomed all trails Sunday evening and Monday morning for skate and classic. Conditions are very good.
