Thanks to the CASTA board for purchase of a Piston Bully. Best groomed conditions for Timberland ever! This opinion was shared by numerous other skiers some of whom have been skiing there for 20-30 years! Skate deck flat, firm, fast but with plenty of edge control. Temps mid 20-s. Classic track looked perfect also. The only negative was moderate amount oak leaf debris. Need more snow! Fantastic early season skiing!

Great base, solid, nice corduroy. A few snowshoers walking side by side, but the base was decent for most of it despite the extra wear and tear. A great day for a ski! Note on the wall said that the outer loop wasn't groomed, I wasn't out for a long ski so cannot testify to that.

We received about an inch of snow since the last grooming, so Saturday night we groomed and set new tracks on all trails except the outer loop. The trail setup nice overnight.

All trails have been Pisten Bully groomed and tracked since yesterday's snowfall. Conditions are very good going into the weekend.

The first grooming with the Pisten Bully was a success! Firm corduroy on the skate deck, and very nice classic tracks. All trails are groomed. Check out the new on-trail rustic cabin you may rent this winter.

Wonderful ski this morning on about 5k of the Trail which was groomed with a fairly firm skate deck. Tried some other areas that were not packed and deck was too soft. Talked to a CASTA member and they are anxiously waiting to get their new PistenBully out to groom the 18" of snow on all the trails. Get out and support this great area.

We received several inches of wet snow. Grooming plans: We will not be grooming until after firearms deer season closes on December 1st, in accordance with our land use agreement. Watch for updates.
