This trail gets lots of use so it isn’t perfect but it is good sking considering this. You do have to put up with people walking on ski trails and also dog park walkers. Stearns did put up a sign and they try hard to prevent this.

Inside Loop is set with two classic tracks. The floating boardwalk has been removed for repairs, but an alternate trail has been groomed to cross the wetland.

Our first snowfall was over 5 inches but didn't set well. Both the outside loop and the inside loop have been packed. No classic tracks set. The floating boardwalk has been removed for repairs, so we have closed a section of the trail. Until the water freezes solid, alternate trails are recommended. Signs are posted.
