I found one loop in the North East section that was still good. Super fast. Looks like it might be the last day. Many bare ground areas already.

Robert Nye park is gorgeous! The entire west half of the park is in great shape for classic, with firm tracks and relatively few oak leaves. The skate deck of the pond loop has been trampled a bit by walkers/snowshoers, but would still be solid skating and the other west side trails looked excellent for skate as well as classic. Only a few fallen twigs here and there. The trails were on the softer side overall, and fresh dusting of snow yesterday and today has not been groomed in, so the trails were a little slow even in the tracks.
I also skiied the north half of the east unit of the park, and while lacking classic tracks, the trail was in great condition in the trees. Anywhere it was open prairie, there was more patchy coverage, icy, with grass sticking through. Not sure how the south half of the east unit is, but I'd assume it is similar. I'd use good skis on the west half with confidence, while keeping an eye peeled for sticks! Many thanks to the groomers for their excellent work!!
