Did the north loop off 65. Went early before the temps got to 45. The tracks set up overnight and were fast. no bare spots yet.

The Forest Service crew groomed and set a track on the south loop (junctions 1-2); middle loop (junctions 4-5-6-7-8- except one segment where a small bridge was washed out of place); and north of CR65 (out and back to the shelter on the east side of the river and out and back a similar distance on the west side of the river). There was just enough new snow (about 2 inches) to set a new track.

Skied Jean Lake trail on 4-6 inches of fresh snow. Good base even though trail had not been recently groomed. Great skiing after skiing in a track on first lap.

Most trails were groomed but snow had fallen. Beautiful single track quiet trails. We saw moose and lynx tracks across the trail. We did ski some trails which were not groomed but had tracks from a previous skier. Wonderful conditions!

Thanks for setting tracks on our local trail. Skiing was pretty good. Had to throw off a few sticks here and there, but the tracks were set up nice. Also, thanks for tracking to the river on both the east and west sides of the river. That makes doing the loop much easier.

The Forest Service crew groomed and set tracks on the segments of trail that have been open and groomed in recent years. North of CR 65 out and back to the shelter east of the river. From the central parking lot around the center loops from 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. From the south parking lot the loop around Jean Lake. There was just enough snow to set a track.
