Excellent conditions – a beautiful day for a ski. Tracks are well set, only a bit blown over in a few of the exposed areas of the back 10k loop. I think the "big hill" and one of the cutoffs was not groomed, but most everything else was and there were plenty of options for skiers of all levels.

Skied the 10k loop and loved it! There was some fresh snow falling so a bit slower than otherwise, but very nice trails and a good track to follow!

Trail groomed this morning. Great track though a bit soft. Beautiful trail. Lots of work for the groomers, thanks Mark and crew.

Huge thank you to Mark for creating Korkki magic today! Tracks were absolutely perfect, pole plants firm, and we were the first on them.

Brilliant grooming at Korkki today. Challenging mostly steady uphill climb to what becomes a meat grinder climb up Isomaki hilll, then leading to thriller of a downhill, no tracks, only controlled chaos down a steep ascent, followed by the little coaster... It was so fun, we did it twice. I highly recommend skiing here and supporting this experience. Thanks for such a nice job setting the best tracks Mark!

First time here. The trails are in excellent condition! Classic skiing only. The intimate feeling of being in the woods is definitely on these trails. Cook's falls made my stomach drop a little bit. Both fun and scary all at the same time. Not too far from Duluth and looks like ample parking. Trails well marked too. Donation box, please add to it, they do a great job!

[ Trails: Closed ]
Mark Helmer has closed the trail until Korkki receives more snow. The rain and cold have made it too icy to ski or groom.

Hug the groomer, Mark. It was awesome. We got there shortly after he finished. Aa few people ahead of us took out a bunch of corners the rest was great. Some slightly icy sections -- nothing major. The rest is magnificent! Get up there! On a side note, there is a fundraiser there tonight for the Northshore Community school.

Good firm trail, well used in the hilly sections and could use a track reset in places, but a great ski.

Terrific conditions at Korkki today. Some small bits of leaf litter on the trail, nothing of any concern, lots of snow and it is terrifically well-groomed; full kudos to the grooming staff. All portions of the course are fully groomed. I did skip the big hill segment, taking the cut-off. Some drifting on the duck pond.
