New tracks on Classic Loops A, B, and C with conditions being good to very good. Skate lane S1 is now open with conditions being fair to good, narrow in spots. Snowshoe loop is packed and Fantastic. Enjoy your ski.

Had a great ski on the B Loop on our way home after three nights in Munising. We weren't sure what conditions we'd find since the National Forest Service office had sketchy information. We were pleasantly surprised to find the trails recently groomed and topped by a fresh 3 inches of soft snow. Kick and glide was sublime, as were the snow-laden trees lining the single track.

Beautiful fluffy snow on top of good classic tracks. Lovely rolling flow through the tall pines. We skied A and B loops just before dark. Quite windy out, but forest was quiet and protected.

Set tracks on Classic Loop D with conditions being fair to good. Skate lanes S1, S2 were packed and groomed, with conditions being fair to good, and the skate deck should harden up. The snowshoe loop is deep, with postcard-like views of the Rapid River Falls.

Classic Loops A, B, and C are tracked, with conditions being fair to good. With the help of our friends at the FS, Classic Loop D is now open, tracked fair to good in 80% of the trail. Skate Lanes are fair to poor. Grooming plans: We will be working on them next week.
