Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions were excellent this morning on the green, red, and.brown classic tracks. They were not regroomed after the 1 inch of snow last night but the tracks were clearly visible and easy to stay in. On the second half of the red loop there were no tracks for quite a while but since this is the area of rolling gradual downhill, that did not matter. No bare spots at all. The skate deck had that 1 inch of new snow on top for those that skate ski.

Skied the green trail this afternoon. Conditions were very good, although a little debris in the pines, as expected, and some footprints as expected.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skated the yellow and red. Skate deck pretty firm. I used my good skis with no damage, but I would recommend using your B skis. There were a couple rocks I saw on the climbs, and were easy enough to skate around. Descents were solid and safe. A very light snow was falling as I left about 3pm.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails have been groomed with tracks set. There is good overall coverage and a relatively firm base after the cold conditions. Use some caution on steep hills as some areas might yet have exposed rocks. B skis recommended.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails have been groomed and are open to skiing. Due to some equipment malfunctions no tracks have been set at this time. The skate deck has good overall snow coverage with a relatively soft base. As always, use caution and watch for upturned rocks on steep sections of trail. Grooming plans: We hope to set tracks later this week dependent on our equipment.

All trials snow packed rolled. No track, but great base layer. Nice to be able to ski the trails this early in the year.
