Reports 1 to 6 of 6    Month: Jan

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Any grooming there was has deteriorated due to rain and melt. Pretty soft and sinking at parts as there was still plenty of snow. However, not terrible to classic ski in tracked areas. Some boot and snowshoe holes.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Slow and soft conditions. Classic ski outer loop in a dense fog (interesting). Still plenty of snow and the tracks are holding up. Not too much debris. Some areas have damage from hikers and snowshoers.

Only an initial roll when I went out; actively grooming. I made my own tracks on the rolled parts or followed where others had been. There was plenty of snow, maybe too much if anything since they were having to make lots of passes to compress it enough so that you wouldn't sink in.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The groomer was out while I was skiing. He was setting tracks and packing down a skate lane. Expect a very soft, irregular skate lane and wavy soft tracks. All the trails were open and had tracks by the time I left. Snow cover is good but some areas have lots of sticks and small branches. It will be helpful if skiers stop and pull some out.

Observation
I stopped by with skate skis. No grooming. People have pioneered tracks that look to be drifted over in spots. Lots of snow out there.

Afternoon

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
No grooming, classic ski tracks are skier made. Deep snow, about a foot in most areas.
Don't try skate skiing.
