Notes

Very scenic with views of the Flambeau River and a heavily timbered landscape. Portions of the upper loop and cutoffs on the east side of the lower loop are more challenging. There is a three-sided shelter on the west side of the upper loop.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Finally got to ski the Flambeau! Bought a cabin three years ago and no snow past two winters. With 50F and afternoon, of course trails were soft, but tracks and corduroy still beautiful. Scenery priceless. Get out and enjoy.

Classic skied the rim Creek loop. Groomed Track in great conditions. A little crusty and fast. Thanks to DNR for good grooming.

Plenty of snow but needs grooming. Rolled before last snow but no tracks set. Skating is possible but trail needs some attention.
