Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Made several passes of the skate deck this morning on both trails, this should help firm them up. Did not do anything to the tracks as they are still in good condition.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Great St Patrick's Day ski at Maywood. That doesn't happen very often. Both trails fully covered with a nice skate deck and a classic track. The Prairie is soft in spots. Enjoy!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Both trails were groomed this morning and tracks were reset. Some tracks better than others due to the drifting. No wind, brilliant sunshine today. Enjoy your St Patrick's Day today by going skiing.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Blizzard conditions late this morning into early afternoon left about a foot of new snow over 3 to 4 inches of rain soaked snow and sleet from yesterday. I was able to compact the new snow into the underlying wet base and should firm up. The high winds bought in nice coverage on the Wagon Trail side it didn't do the same on the Prairie Trail side. Still full coverage on that trail but drifted in some spots and wind blown trail in others. I did set a track on both trails. Get out and enjoy this beautiful spring skiing opportunity.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed in 1 1/2 to 2 inches of new snow this morning, still thin in many areas but getting better with every flake. No tracks but a nice surface to ski on. Both trails were groomed with mixed results. It will be soft but go out and enjoy what we have. Beautiful morning out there.

Grooming

I smashed down about an inch of power snow this afternoon on both sides of Maywood Park. The Prairie loop is thin with bare spots. The Wagon Trail is better but also thin. Ski with caution.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
A cold ski on a very thin skate deck still made for a good afternoon of skiing. Lots of thin spots in the deck, especially out in the Prairie. I had to walk in some areas and double pole through narrow snow covered areas fairly often. Enough covered areas to make it worthwhile. Trail 9 is better than the Prairie loop.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle

A beautiful sunny morning for a ski. The trails are generally in good condition. Watch out under evergreen trees and spots in the prairie. Well worth my time. No classic track.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
We received about an inch of dry fluffy snow which was groomed this afternoon. The deck is very thin but skiable. Use caution. It is too thin to set a classic track.
