Skied 90% of the trails this morning. Tons of snow in the woods. Full coverage everywhere, I recommended B skis due to some fallen lichen/twigs. Skins were ideal! The trails appeared to be freshly groomed, although the pole plants were somewhat soft due to warm conditions. I'd recommend big baskets/old poles if you have them.

Wonderful ski today. Trail slightly sticky at times but overall was in great shape. Thank you groomers. But a very special thank you to the people who helped get us out of the unplowed parking lot where we were firmly stuck in the snow. Gotta love Minnesotans. Thank you!

Lots of debris from the balsam trees and a few downed trees due to last night's wind. Tracks were somewhat icy. Enjoyed the beautiful, blue sky on a calm 18 degree day. I wish the trails had been groomed this morning.

Most of the trails were open and groomed today, with the exception of the ones further back. The lot was plowed. Bean Lake Trail was not groomed yet. I skied the Ridge Trail, which had deep snow but was still passable.

First time skiing here. Very nice trail system. Freshly groomed. Tracks in great shape. Snow depth very good. Skied to Bean Lake which was beautiful. Will be back.

The classic tracks were rock hard offering great kick and squeaky firm pole plants. There was very minimal debris from the recent wind in a few places and in an open spot or two some drifted in snow. A very light dusting had settled in the tracks that along with the frigid temps made for painfully slow going. I'd hoped to ski the Northwoods Connector Trail but it doesn't look to have been touched by groomer or intrepid trail breaker.

Amazing skiing. We skied almost all the loops and the out and back to Bean Lake a little more than 10K. It was groomed a couple of days ago and then it lightly snowed two or three times on top of it. It was actually pretty slow with the right wax, but it was slow for people even without wax. No rock showing, very very little vegetation showing. It's a wonderful ski.
