Beaver Brook East (trailhead off Cranberry Road) must have been recently groomed as the tracks were solid and the leaf litter minimal compared to other nearby trails. Of course there are some twigs and pine tree detritus to avoid. Overall, great classic ski on beautiful narrow trail system under sunny blue sky. Thanks groomer(s)!

The trails at Beaver Brook have been recently groomed for classic skiing only. The trails are also open to skiers with dogs. The tracks were deep and set up firmly, the trails offer very good pole plants as well. There is plenty of snow for good coverage and control. Bundle up and enjoy the skiing!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After cleaning up storm damage and a couple of big snow storms, volunteer groomer, Kevin Myers, groomed the Beaver Brook Trails for classic skiing. The trails should be great for this weekend. There is plenty of snow to offer good control and the tracks are firm and deep with little debris. Dogs are allowed on the trails.

I skied the west trails. The trail was freshly groomed and conditions were wonderful. The snowy scenery was beautiful; great day to hit the trails.
