Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Today the entire system was groomed. We didn't get much snow (maybe an inch) so used the teeth to grind up the top of the deck. The result was pretty good. A mix of a little fresh snow and crushed deck. The skate deck is especially nice, level, firm and fresh courdoroy. The classic track is a little shallow in places but fairly good overall. The best classic tracks are on the Barnes Rd side of the trail system.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After last weekends warm weather and 3” light snow the trails were all groomed yesterday. Because of cooler temps the skate
deck and classic track set up well. Public invited to Friends of Tomahawk Lake Park gathering Saturday Feb 1st 10am. Park update
with refreshments at Barnes Town Hall followed by fun snow shoe and CC ski at Tomahawk. The new warming house with changing room there is now open for public use. Enjoy.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails have been groomed. The furthest trails away from the parking were groomed today along with the cutoff segments. The inner loops had good skied in tracks and one pass was made down the middle of the skate lane. Overall, the system is in good shape and has compacted well.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Rolled all trails today. Was able to groom for skate and classic on the 7k loop. The cutoffs to ski shorter loops are rolled. Unfortunately on my last pass I could see where someone took a walk in the middle of the skate deck, punching through the whole way. Snowshoeing is fine but without snowshoes walking ruins the hours of work that goes into creating good conditions. So, if you see someone walking the trail without snowshoes please let them know kindly that the groomer would prefer they use snowshoes.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Rolled entire system but was only able to groom for skate and classic the bobcat trail (about 7k loop). With all the snow it is a bit soft, hopefully the cold temps overnight will help that. It turned out really nice where it's groomed. Skiers can still take the cutoffs to make a shorter loop but will ski rolled trail. The hope is to get the rest of the trail groomed by the weekend.
