If your looking for some wicked fast early morning ski until 10am, there is a fine tilled surface with hard pack. Be careful on downhills. When I say wicked fast, like raspberry on the elbows or knees when you wipe out. But this kind of snow only comes spring and early morning until 9am, then mush-city.

Night
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I started skiing around 5:30 pm just as it was getting dark. I classic skied 9 kilometers over the next hour and a half. The trails had not been groomed after the most recent 5 - 6 inches of new snow. There had been several classic skiers before me so most of the trails had been skied in. As anyone who has skied here before knows, there are many challenging hills on these trails. The new snow made those hills much more manageable. I should state that I skied with my NiteRider Lumina 700 attached to my bicycle helmet so I was able to ski the entire trail system. Unfortunately, I would say half of the lights are out on the poles so the lighted loops are only about half lighted. If you go at night, take your headlamp.

Trails are groomed and great shape for wicked fast skating. Some leave and needle debris i there the pines. The teeth on groomer was able to cut the fine snow 3/4" top surface with hard pack underneath.

It appeared the trails had been groomed recently. Overall conditions I would rate as good. However, the trails were not groomed as well as I have seen them in the past. The skate deck was a little soft in several sections but overall it wasn't bad. The lights came on while I was skiing. However, so many of the lights are out that I did not feel comfortable skiing as darkness moved in.

Just got a couple inches of snow and touched up the trails. The bases are level flat with the Tiddtech groomer Was able to make a nice 3/4 inch cord surface. Get out and enjoy some of the best trails so far.

Good coverage with firm base. A bit icy after freezing rain overnight - suggest caution. Beautiful landscape, appreciate all the effort spent keeping up this trail by local folks. A hidden gem!

Good solid level hard pack trails all open. Really good condition overall. Outer loop is tracked. Base is 6-8". The past tree limbs that were over hanging have been brushed back.

Trails are in great shape, track is set around the Outer loop and along the lake. With that the trails have been compacted and leveled. Improved on trail base has made the system better for low snow for a flatter surface. There is a solid 6" based.
