Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We classic skied the hilly woods loop and far open prairie loop that returns to the woods loop. The woods loop is still all skier made tracks but quite good even on downhills with few people divots and no footprints. Rest had been rolled once though not in great condition where we skied.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Great sunny and cold day for skiing! Trails north and west of the park road: Innermost loop of prairie, groomed for classic, excellent conditions, but only a mile long loop. Far west woods loop: not groomed, but excellent skier made tracks (classic). Loops south and east of park road: Groomed for skate, excellent conditions (about 2/3rds of the loops have groomed classic tracks to the side).

Observation
Definitely not groomed at Nelson yet. Looks like the snowmobile tried some, but nowhere near skatable or striding.

Cold and windy but groomed for classic on the main loop (sunny side or something like that?). No tracks by M as of 2pm Saturday. Good to go!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Not groomed but all trails covered with sufficient snow and decent skiing in tracks made by previous diagonal striders. Would be hard to skate ski through the 6 inches of wet snow.
