Don't go north, morningside not groomed. Other trails were nice except the hikers with dogs (no hiking or dogs allowed on groomed trails). Grinds my gears. Beautiful in the sun though.

Trails were freshly groomed, very good coverage. Skate deck was firm and classic tracks also appeared to be in pretty good shape for a good portion of the trail. Not too much debris, a few leaves, which is to be expected for late fall skiing.

Groomed and track set. Please note: there has been some changes in the grooming operations. The Morningside trail will not be groomed any longer to provide an area for hikers and pets to hike over the winter months. All trails south of the park road will continue to be groomed.

The Prairie Trail was being rolled groomed and tracked while I was there. They did the best job possible and the skate deck looked pretty good. The classic track was well set but thin. Grass was poking through on more than 50% of the area on the hills especially. The trails in the woods were set by skiers and really quite unavailable to skate. Much of the edges of the "track" was bothered by hikers and snowshoes. It was good to be out the skiing but conditions were not too good, although I applaud the groomer for the effort. There are better options as I see hikers and snowshoeing as an ongoing issue.

Groomer was out packing trail then setting track as I skied. Pretty good coverage even after packing it down. All trails open.
