Unfortunately looks like someone skied the skate deck yesterday at the peak of afternoon temps and sun. Trail is in desperate need of a groom... And then for all of us to only skate early morning when temps are below freezing. Two crashes today at fairly high speeds made for a fun morning. Hopefully sled can get out while temps just above freezing to fix things up.

Fresh snow was skatable as of 7 am. Good workout. Won't set any land speed records with the lack of groom and new snow, but conditions still ok. A few inches of fresh wet snow on the previously groomed trails. Early morning conditions likely best.

Trails were in fantastic shape over the weekend. The skate lane had set up nicely and the classic tracks looks really good. Enjoy the skiing while the snow lasts!

Sweet sixteen! Sixteen days in a row skiing. Not too bad so far 2021. Exceptional job grooming overnight. Packed the skate deck into a nice wide stable corduroy. Just fantastic. Thank you! Circle infield is a bit torn up by some sort of environmental work where a skid steer with tracks is in and out doing some sort of brush removal or something. Outside loop all intact. Best conditions of the week!

15 days in a row of skate skiing! Hallelujah! If you can call yesterday skiing... It was more a diagonal snowshoe than stride. But I made it the loop so count it. Full grooming overnight. Skate deck is pretty soft and hasn't set up. You can feel settling as you stride. Not wicked fast but beautiful snow-covered forest to envy as you shift down a gear.

Attempted to skate through the 2 feet of powder. Not groomed. One wicked workout. Hopefully the sled gets out this evening. Gorgeous.

Skate deck was surprisingly slow and soft at dawn. Was running CH5 wax, perhaps needed CH4. Slow going but great workout. Proper work by the groomers. Thanks a lot guys. Brilliant work.

Freshly groomed today. Great job by groomers. Classic in great shape. Skate deck soft and slow. Needs a day or two to set up. Not a fast skate right now but beautiful and extra cardio!

Skate deck Friday was solid. Fresh tracks through 4 inches of fresh powder. A little work but solid. Outside loop groomed overnight. Another dump of snow today. Skate is doable but really needs a grooming. Best week of the year for skiing looks like it has arrived. Next several days should be delightful.
