We rolled the entire park on Wednesday with the exception of the farthest part of the Orange Trail, and around the North trailhead. We followed this up Thursday afternoon by setting track on the same portions of the trail. The tracks are decent for the most part, a little shallow in other areas. There was no exposed ground. There are a few spots that have some red oak leaves on the trail. Not a big concern, except if you were going down a hill. If that's the case, be very cautious. Bundle up and head out!

Tracks were set prior to weekend snowfall. Looks like at least 3" of new snow on top of previous 4-5". Unfortunately we were not able to track over the new snow due to some equipment issues. Grooming plans: We hope to get those issues resolved tomorrow with hopefully some rolling and tracking done on Wednesday. Right now the tracks are okay in places and not the best in other places. Unlike the two prior years there seems to be plenty of snow if we can keep it.

Skied the blue, green, and red loops this afternoon. Many thanks to the groomers who set the tracks. Conditions may not be perfect but it's great to be able to ski locally in December! Also appreciated the tracked, red loop "bypass". Noticed the new trail markers - very helpful. Looking forward to more snow!

Wednesday morning, we groomed almost the entire park trail system. While we got 11 inches of snow over the weekend, there are some spots that could've used a little more. There are a few things spots here and there plus some annoying Oak leaf litter in a few spots. In most places, the tracks had decent depth. We did not get to the far part of the orange loop due to a huge tree crossing the trail. We also did not groom from the north trailhead as the hill at the very beginning is often rocky, and we did not want to risk damage to our equipment. As it got significantly colder after we groomed, I think the tracks have set up nicely. We have already equaled the number of times (1) that we got out last year! Let's make up for last time!
