Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I skated about 7km this afternoon, expecting icy conditions, but discovered that the trails had been groomed again this morning. Fast snow, but edging and control were just fine. It looks like the Pisten Bully ony tilled about 1" deep, so the classic tracks are kind of shallow and wavy (but still good). Still plenty of snow base here but probably not for many more days.

Adam groomed the rest of the loops this morning (after doing about 6k on Sunday). Beautiful corduroy, tilled about 1" deep and excellent tracks. Blue klister wax worked pretty well and the glide was great but skate skiing would have been even better.

Half of it was groomed after yesterday's rain storm. The groomer worked some amazing magic! Fast snow, perfect tracks and corduroy, lot of control! Perfect ski day. Just need some more k.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
All of the 17k are open but only about 5k were groomed this morning (the nearest and easiest loops). The groomed trails were outstanding, fast but smooth corduroy and great tracks. The PB100 does a great job of turning ice into something skiable. Not sure when the rest of the trails will be groomed.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails received a fresh groom today; Adam started in the morning but had to quit early to fix a leaky seal on the hydraulic tracksetter on the PB100.
The tracks and the skate deck are fabulous but it was kinda soft. Should be firmed up nicely by tomorrow morning.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Variable conditions on the trails today. Most of the loops were used pretty heavily on the weekend and need a fresh groom. Some areas have lots of oak leaves in the tracks. Plenty of snow base. Adam plans to groom with the PB again on Wednesday (if we get more snow on Wednesday, he will do it afterwards).

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I strided most of the loops (13 of 17k), skiing relaxed (after doing the Korte on Friday). The tracks were in great condition, skate deck still very nice except where a few people walked down the middle of the trails (Little James and Corker).

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Adam groomed all of the loops this morning, after getting about 4" snow yesterday. Deep, firm tracks and corduroy. Beautiful!

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Adam groomed everything this morning and it's fabulous. There are some sticks (really strong winds yesterday), but the oak leaves are pretty well covered up nowhere.

I skied all of the loops (17k). It was last groomed on Saturday, so there was some debris (hemlock cones, oak leaves) but otherwise everything was in excellent condition (tracks and skate deck).
