Trails were completely snow-covered except for <1% grass poking through. Hardly any classic tracks to speak of, though, due to insufficient snow depth. Skate deck looked okay, and better than the tracks. Slightly different routing from previous seasons, that flattens two the bigger hills. Extremely mediocre overall -- but hey, it's Illinois, so we ski whatever is white.
