From Groomer Dale: The golf course trails were groomed for skating. The base is thin and there are a few areas with exposed grass and pine cones. Skating in the morning and evening should be pretty nice for a few days. Avoid mid afternoon skiing as that will leave irreparable ruts. We need more snow!

Skied the golf course loop about 3k. Trails were fast! No major debris spots, just two thin areas under a couple trees. Trails had not been groomed in a bit; there was very shallow drifting. No tracks. The trail out to the field did not look like it had been groomed. Great skiing!

From Groomer Dale: The golf course was groomed for skating with one set track over 3k. It is soft very cold snow! Today the wind drifted in the tracks. Given the weather- we won't regroom until Sunday/ maybe!

From Groomer Dale: The 5.2k trail was rolled and the golf course loops groomed for skating. The snow is very light and cold- packing down to a thin base. The skate deck is a bit bumpy. There is not enough snow to set tracks. The trail should set up in cold temps.

From Groomer Dale: Trails are enjoyable but the skate deck is very thin with plenty of visible grass and bare spots under trees. No tracks set. Dales Bump is good but you have to walk your skis thru the fence line. So- rock skis or B skis.

From Groomer Dale: We didn't get enough snow to open the trails-. The rain turned the trail into an icy slab. Was able to rough it up and cover with the 1" of new snow- but too icy to safely skate. We need more snow to open.

From Groomer Dale: Groomed in morning. 4k skate deck is very good, icy or dirty spots marked, follow fresh grooming. Classical tracks left alone, no change. People using the tracks with waxless might actually make them better! Please do not skate if snow is wet or temps above 38F.
