Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trail conditions are very good. Under the thick white pines a little less snow so tracks are shallow. Skate skiing is excellent. Had two inches of snow to work into a firm base. Base varies from 2" to 5". Snowshoe trails and sledding hill are excellent.

Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied this morning to get a shakeout in before the Birkie. Trails are skiable but haven't been groomed since the meltdown. Not bad for getting in a few kilometers. Wouldn't recommend good skis or doing an interval workout.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were groomed 4 days ago but not yet heavily travelled. Classic tracks are in good shape with few leaves and twigs. The skate deck looks good, too, despite some animal tracks and a few boot tracks. The yellow segment (the hilly one) is groomed for skating but there are no classic tracks on that section.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All the ski trails were groomed this afternoon. Excellent tracks and corduroy for skiing. Come enjoy the beautiful trails 2 mile from downtown Hayward. Very easy trails to more difficult. The Yellow Trail is very hilly and the most challenging. The snowshoe trails looks great. The sledding hill is fun being nice and fast. The hill has seen a lot of use this winter. We have a lot snow for the base. Weather has been cold!
