Trail Detail
Notes
A great beginner trail with two easy downhills. Known for its solitude and beauty. Large pines line the trail.Trail Reports

We packed the trail wide and set a classic track following the last big snowstorm the previous week (20") plus this morning (additional 4").

This classical skier did the loop today in 10 degree conditions. Tracks have been set for at least a few days, i.m.o. Some areas are torn up by other skiers, and there are some thin/icy spots where your skis might slide sideways. Where the tracks are deep and set solidly, skiing is fine. Good glide on those sections. Enough debris on the tracks to be cautious about sudden stops. I'd call it fair to good skiing conditions.

Groomed entire loop at George Washington Pines. Trail has an average base of 12". Overall, trail conditions are great!

The trail loop was packed and tracked after the weekend's 4" of snow accumulation. The conditions should make for good skiing and snowshoeing for quite a while.

We packed a snowshoe deck and set a nice ski track on the trail today. Please remember to pick up after your pets and stay out of the ski track as much as possible when walking or snowshoeing.

The trail was packed and tracked for the first time today, though we have snowmobile packed several times this season. Expect some tree debris and occasional rocks. If snowshoeing, please be sure to stay off of the tracked portion of trail.
