The East Trails travel through a forest dominated by evergreens with terrain that is gentle and rolling and suitable for skiers of all abilities. The West Trails travel through a forest of primarily hardwoods and offer more hills and winding runs through the natural hilly terrain.

The trail was groomed late this afternoon. Tracks look great; well formed and full depth everywhere. Tracks should firm up and conditions be terrific Get out and ski.

The trails were groomed this afternoon thanks to "groomers in training" Norm N and Steve C. From what we could see the tracks are full depth and well formed. It sure is great to finally have enough snow. Conditions should be very good to excellent.

The conditions just across the WI border are better than below it. :) We did all of the west side (across the road from the parking lot) trails today. We had some sticking due to the warm temps, but the trails were well tracked. It was beautiful!

The ski trail was groomed this morning.  Looks like we finally have winter skiing conditions.  Tracks are deep and well formed.  There is very little debris although some is noticeable in a couple of places under Hemlocks.  There are no icy spots or glaze from yesterday's warm temperatures.  I would call conditions very good or better. .

With a fresh inch or so, on top of a well-groomed 8", conditions were magical. I broke the Eastern trail in the morning and was rewarded when someone else did the same on the Western loops. Soft, white, and entirely pleasant, this was the best skiing I've done in two years!

The trails were groomed late today and conditions look to be very good. Our recent snow was first dragged over the last few days to level and prepare the trail for its first real grooming this year. It is time to get out and ski.

Firsthand: Classic Grooming 
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The ski trail was packed and tracked and tracked Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. It was previously packed on Sunday which allowed the base to freeze before we got the good snow earlier this week. Early season conditions are good. There are some leaves and pine needles visible in places but they are causing no problems. I skied the west side this morning and it was pretty darn good.
