Skied the Ge-Chee, Bennan and Campground loops. Part of Brennan loop had been skied by another skier so track was set by them. The rest of the trails had 1-2 inches of snow on them but the tracks were visible and in place. Using my waxed skis with klister was the perfect combination. The skiing was good to excellent. It was a fantastic day to be on the trails. With the cold temperatures overnight the trails should firm up and have excellent skiing for most of the day on Saturday.

Best conditions all year! Fresh groomed from Friday so track was virtually untouched and a little soft. Trail is tracked from end to end even on downhills. Get out there for a superb ski.

Good to see the whole system open at Ge-Che after a few years of logging activity. Skied my favorite loop to Bennan Lake and then back toward Lake Ottawa and to Hagerman Lake. Nice deep tracks on a well-groomed surface. Should set up nice with cooler temperatures tonight.

Skiers are setting the tracks. No grooming done yet. Beautiful ski thru the woods regardless. Trsils would be more fun if they were groomed. Did the campground loop and out the boat landing trail to loop back.
