Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We groomed everything early this morning, after we though the snow was done. But another round of flurries came in and dusted everything up. So, there will be a light layer of the fluff covering everything until we can get back out and groom again tonight.

Conditions could not be much better than they are. Tracks are deep, pole plants solid, untracked downhills have just enough give to allow easy step turns without fear of skidding out. Nice to see WinMan full of snowshoers, fat bikers and Nordic skiers today.

Excellent conditions. Light snow on trails, relatively fast conditions. Definitely use good skis, no bare spots.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Our groomers went out early this morning to groom and reset all the tracks after a busy weekend. Brad Reports that the cooler temperatures helped to solidify the trails, especially the classic tracks, and they only needed resetting in a few places. Additionally the skate deck smoothed out nicely and is in excellent condition.

Pristine skiing. We thought the snow would be slushy but trails were groomed well with great coverage and temperatures.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were groomed and all tracks reset this morning. We had about 4” of snow over the last two days, and our groomers were able to use it to improve upon the already good conditions by filling some of the uneven areas through the system. After grooming this morning Brad Kusz, our property manager, reports that all the trails are in amazing condition.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Our trails have been holding up wonderfully. According to Nic Brown, our Thursday night groomer, "Everything was looking really good after I went over it." Morning inspections confirm that the skate deck and classic lanes are both looking really good. Next scheduled grooming is 1AM Friday morning. Our pump track is also groomed. The surface is smooth and hard but not at all flat. Skiers report that shorter skate skis seem to work best ;-).

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Last grooming (all tracks and skate deck) was Monday morning. I had a nice early morning “inspection” ski. The tracks are holding up well. There are a couple of places where they were a bit glazed, but did not cause me any problems. The skate deck looked pretty good. I found a couple of branches and tossed them off, and there are a few places where the deer have been making a mess by nibbling on the ends of shrubs and branches. Again not really a problem. Next scheduled grooming is tonight.

We skated the Orange, Gray, and Blue/Red (between B and J) loops. All were in excellent shape with fresh corduroy, solid skate deck, full coverage and no debris. Highly recommended.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Arrived at trail at 1:30 pm and there were about 20 cars in lot. Temp was 24F degrees. We skated outside red loop first. The skating deck was in great shape, full coverage, and we only saw 6 others skiers. We then strided inside orange and grey loops. The track was better than red loop because of less traffic. Track on red loop was still very good. The grooming was excellent and kudos to the groomers. Well worth the drive. No fee to ski but they rely on donations - be generous!
