Skied every piece of trail available. Classic tracks were as good as they have been all season. Skate deck looked great. Fat bike trails were also excellent.

I arrived shortly after noon to about six to eight inches of new snow with snow still coming down. The groomer had already been out but there was already over an inch of snow on the skate deck. There were no groomed tracks for classic although the tracks had been broken by classic skiers. I skied the 10k Red loop and followed up with 6k in the Orange connector and the the Orange loop. I would rate overall conditions as good.

Grooming was great, but hard to make 8" of new snow from yesterday fast when it's 40F degrees and sunny.

First time skiing WinMan. This complex has XC skiing, Mtn Bike and Snowshoe trail systems, a few times they cross each other but well planned system. There is also a significant tubing hill. We skied the 10K red loop, and did the out/back lollipop trail. Then went out and did any inner loop to reach 10 miles. All trails are wide and had deep classic tracks. Be careful crossing snowmobile trails - they come up fast! Great lodge, no fee - please leave a donation.

Team was out early this morning grooming the entire system after 2-3" of new snow yesterday. Conditions will be very good today as both classic and skate lanes setup really well. Possibility for some softer conditions in the afternoon based on temperature and sun. Great time of year to do the 1.6k Warm-Up Loop to test your wax and apparel choices before going on a longer ski.

At 11 am the skate deck was well covered and firm, but not hard. A bit of tail digging on the uphills. But overall excellent conditions.

Wow! Groomers were out early and all trails were groomed and tracks set by 9:00. Kudos to the groomers, solid skate deck and bomber classical tracks. Sunny, 30 degrees and great tracks- does not get any better than this!

The team has been at it since early this morning. Many of the trails will require two passes due to the 6+ inches of snow we received yesterday. All skate lanes and classic tracks are being groomed system wide. Conditions will be soft today due to snowfall amounts. We will be finished grooming by late morning. Grooming plans: We will resume grooming on Thursday and Friday mornings to get things in great shape for the weekend. .

Overall conditions are firm and fast. Skate lanes are excellent system wide. Classic tracks are fair to good due to shallow depth and some small areas where we were unable to set track. North Trails have better tracks than the South Trails. Ground is just too hard for our current equipment. We are waiting on part for our power tiller which should arrive today. As soon as it arrives we will get it running and be able to set proper tracks.

This morning they had freshly groomed the skate ski lane. The corduroy was very functional for skate skiing but the substrate was very solid. The classic tracks were generally in good condition but had not been reset since the last thaw/freeze cycle. Impressive skiing conditions considering the recent weather.
