Nice flat groomed surface. Good snow cover. Light snow falling as I skied. Snow was wet and a little soft but the skiing was good if you're not in a hurry. Beautiful winter scenery all around. Enjoyed the view. No classic tracks.

Skated a few laps on the 7k loop late morning into afternoon. Base was groomed but still icy and a bit rough when I started, however 1.5 inch of new snow fell while I was skiing which smoothed things out. The trail was skiing well when I left but you could tell the ice was close under the surface. Classic tracks were flat and smooth. As always, thank you groomers.

I was skeptical on the drive over as much of the Northwoods is a patchwork of large sections of bare ground next to the remaining snow these days. Winman fully surprised me because all the trails I skied (the 7k loop) were fully covered and in great shape from the morning's fresh grooming! They tilled everything up nicely and reset the classic tracks to perfection. I utilized their nice waxing room afterwards to throw on some storage wax. What a great season it has been!

Killer ski this morning. Freshly groomed first tracks. Skied 17K this morning, everything groomed but down and back. Firm tracks, great skate deck. They do a great job there with the grooming. Quite a few skiers out today.

Classic skiing bliss! The tracks were like silk today. Some of the best conditions of the year. 19 degree air temp. Toko green base binder with 3 layers of VP 30 over the top was money for kick. Skied the 10k loop, had an GU, then went out for more. Get out and enjoy it while it's good.

I started skiing at 10:15 am with temperatures in the low 20's. The skate deck was firm and speed was good. I skied the red 10K loop plus the out and back, down to the Papoose lot, and finished up with the Interval loop for a total of 17 kilometers. Temperatures warmed up fast and were in the low 30's by the time I finished just past noon. The skate deck was slower the last. 45 minutes but speed was still decent. It was another enjoyable day at WinMan.

WinMan was great today. Full depth classic tracks and the skate late has firmed up since the last snowfall.

We picked up about 4 inches of fresh snow overnight on top of a 10" base. Groomers were out this morning setting classic tracks and grooming the skate lanes. Expect excellent coverage with softer conditions.

Skate skied the blue loop and conditions were a bit soft but fast thanks to recent grooming. The base is holding up given the recent warm weather.

The skate lanes were freshened up this morning with the power tiller and leveling drag to help break up a layer of ice. Coverage remains great, the base is firm.
