This was almost all ice. Dangerous to go out. Was like going on an ice rink. Some blowing of snow to then catch you as you go across the ice.

I was bummed that the classic tracks still hadn't been set given how much snow we've gotten this past week. There were several paths made by other classic skiers around the course, but it was difficult to get much distance in.

The trail was groomed today. A corduroy skate deck was laid down, snow conditions are good with a few icy patches throughout the system. Happy New Year!

The skate deck was very soft with predictable icy thin areas on hills and under trees. Still a fun ski, especially for a beginner.

The cross country ski trail was groomed today. We transitioned from rolling to grooming with just a skate deck available at this time. Snow conditions are good with about a 4" to 5" base, no classic track at this time.
