Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skate deck was fast both Saturday evening and Sunday morning. The typical stick and leaf debris was easily avoidable except in the heavy pine forest past the snowmobile trails. It was more ski walking than skiing in that section. The classic tracks looked pretty thin in most spots with much more leaf debris. As always, this is a beautiful ski trail. Now if only the walkers would refrain from clomping down the middle of the skate deck.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Only skied as far as the beginning of the advanced section. Trails have been groomed within the last couple of days and are mostly in good condition. Classic tracks are decently set with an average amount of leaves and branches. Skate appears to be in a fine condition with few iced-over spots. The one exception is the return leg back to the parking lot; constant sun exposure has meant that this area is significantly more melted compared to the rest of the course.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Nordic Ridge is finally groomed! The skate deck was the widest I've ever seen, at least 10'everywhere except in the narrow pine forest. In some spots there was a light classic groom in the middle of the skate deck, which was a bit tricky especially because the surface was super fast. Some leaf debris. The classic track didn't look very deep. A few walkers continue to stroll passed the skiing only signs and muck up the trails closest to the community center.

Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ B skis ]
The groomer has been broken for some time, so no trail is groomed. If you don't mind an entirely backwoods, old timey skiing experience of breaking your own trail, go for it, as it's beautiful out there no matter what, but it is for sure a different kind of workout.

Observation Secondhand
First time visitor here to check out the trails. There was a sign indicating the trails have not been groomed for some time as their machine is broken. I noticed some skiers tracks, but didn't notice any classic groomed tracks so I moved onto my plan B.
