Trails are in very good shape. A bit icy in the exposed areas. Skate lane was recently dragged, and was firm, but not too hard. Plenty of base on the trail. Classic tracks had not been reset in a while and looked good, but were glazed, fast, and harder than the skate lane. Not much debris on the skate lane or in the classic track.

Excellent! Trails were freshly groomed, mixing in the dusting we got late yesterday. No dirt, debris, ice, or wet spots. With a blazing sun overhead, things could not get much better. Here's to Spring skiing in December!

Very good conditions continue throughout the entire system. We have not had much snow recently, and this has allowed groomers to work on widening the trails. Skate lanes are wide, and do not feel cramped like they did in the early season. Classic track is set throughout. The trails are getting a lot of use, and are skiing well. Remember to ski early if you can during the heat wave.

Very good conditions with firm classic track and skate lane. The groomers have done a great job this year, and their efforts are paying off. No problem with good skis today. What a great little loop to have right in town!

Wow! Vastly improved conditions, temps just below 30 °F, and faster snow made for an awesome afternoon ski. The trails are getting better with each grooming. Tracks were reset, and firm. Skate deck is firming up and leveling off. No rocks or dirt, but some whips sticking through. Thanks again to the dedication from the local volunteer groomers we wouldn't be skiing without you!

Enjoyed a nice early season classic, the first in tracks. Some softish with a few whips on the sides, but overall pretty good. Somewhat narrow with skate lane intruding on classic track here and there, but at this time of the year, I'm not complaining. Doubt that they will be able to reset, but what's there is good. First time to this trail and the mellow terrain is perfect to get the early balance, timing, and groin muscles in shape.

MMHP is groomed and tracked. Plenty of snow on the ground. No rocks or dirt, but there are a few twigs poking up here and there. It continues to snow today, but it's just icing on the 20 inch plus cake of snow we received Friday night. Conditions continue to be soft, but with the dozens of skiers out there today, and continued grooming, things should firm up quickly. Thanks to the groomers for being ready for this early snowfall.
