[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I heard some people started grooming at school forest. Today saw it first hand, Keith, a volunteer, was rolling the trails, I asked him if he was going to put in some tracks for classic skiing: Yes. Thank you Keith for all your hard work. Hopefully the snow sets up, it's a little soft.

Blazed a trail (tracks) early afternoon, first one out today besides one loan snow shoe hiker. I skied in some of the hikers tracks, for once. Beautiful day to be out in the forest. Lots of deer tracks. With the two snow falls we had, some tracks were 10 to 12 inches deep. Good workout.

[ B skis ]
I broke a set of tracks with my offtrack skis. Was like snow shoeing with skis. Tried to keep tracks off to the side so hikers would maybe stay out of them. Watch your eyes for low hanging branches. Hiker tracks, deer tracks galore. 7 or 8 inches of snow for a good base. Come on out ski in tracks, will only get better with use.
