Trail Reports

Reports 1 to 7 of 7    Month: Feb | Jan | Dec
Friday, February 20, 2026
Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails were groomed on Thursday. The hickory trail is completely grass, but most other trails are actually pretty decent. Had a great time skiing the butterfly meadow and vernal pond trails.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Rock skis ]
Trails are groomed still, no bare ground yet. But tracks are icy beyond belief. Expect little traction, and probably some scratched skis. Still worth it though!

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Very skiable but thin conditions. Unlikely you will see anyone else and it's not well marked so snap a picture of the map and bring your phone if you don't know the area. I marked most trails were open, but it could be all. Free but consider a donation into the cash box located at the big map in the front parking. Park in the second lot further back into the park for the best ski experience.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I skied almost all the trails today, 4 miles worth anyway. Several icy places, several places with leaves that put the brakes on. But still nice to get out.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Icy and shallow, but tracks still mostly present. Doable, but don't expect much. Better than I was hoping though to be honest after all this warm weather.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Excellent tracks that were re-set yesterday. The tracks are solid, smooth, no patches at all, bring your good skis and enjoy.

Night
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
All ski trails have been groomed for classic ski, but base is a bit thin in spots so some visible grass. It did snow again today, so on some trails the tracks are a bit harder to see until someone skis them.
