Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Beautiful skiing; quiet not too crowded. Trail grooming was great. Only one or two small thin patches; rest was perfect.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails were open. I probably shouldn't have been skiing on them as they are so icy and less than 10% of trails were good snow to skate on. Otherwise I was slipping and sliding through the ice. Hopefully didn't rough up my skis too much as it was so icy and junk throughout. Also tons of footprints throughout which made skating difficult to stay on a good path.

[ B skis ]
No grooming, but the skier set trails were surprisingly good. Lots of snow, almost 100% coverage. A great start to the season.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails haven't been groomed but there are classic skiing tracks set in all the trails. Base was good with very few bare spots. Conditions were good for the first ski of the season. Saw about a half a dozen skiers out there, everyone was enjoying. Good trails for beginners as all the trails are fairly flat. Can't beat skiing through the forest, had four whitetail deer jump out in front of me on the trail.
