Skating conditions were very tricky for this average-ability skier; skate deck was so soft and deep after getting a lot of use Sunday that it was very difficult for me to get my ski up and out of the snow after each stride. I took my falls with no witnesses, thankfully. Coverage was still very good with only a few bare spots from (it looks like) people who fell and one very short section with twigs poking up. It'd be really fun classic skiing, as the park is gorgeous right now even under grey skies, and there are plenty of skier-set classic tracks. The many boot, snowshoe, and skater tracks make it hard to tell what was the original groomer-set classic track. I think all the trails are groomed, but it was my first time skiing here so I could have missed something.
