Holy cow, the groomer here is doing a great job with the snow cover that she has to work with — was almost done regrooming when I was there late morning. Some grass pokes through on the green loop and there are just a couple bare spots otherwise, but the bike path crossings really impressed me— perfect coverage and clean snow. No need to slow down even though the rest of the path is plowed. Classic tracks also looked freshly set.

Conditions above average but not excellent. A couple bare spots, but otherwise coverage good throughout. However--the prairie had a lot of upright stems and grass poking through--expect ski scrapes there (hence, teh B ski rating). My skis are older, I only have one pair, and they have a few scrapes--so I missed the grass and brush and was fine. Plenty of scattered oak leaves in the woods, with one section well-covered with leaves, but easy to use the skate deck there. Track otherwise mostly intact and average speed. Nice to be able to use the trails that were added a year or two ago. Skate deck looked well-used; mostly intact, with a few very thin spots in sunny areas.
