Firsthand: Classic Observation

Went out this afternoon around 4 pm when there was about 8" of snow on the ground. A few others had skied prior but lots of snow coming down filling in tracks. Really nice out there. The snow was pretty dry and glided well. I live on the west side of Madison and it 9 pm now, I have over 10" of snow on the ground now.
