Groomed again early this morning. A little ice in a few spots but overall surprisingly good when I skied between 10:30 and noon. Thanks groomers!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were still in very good condition with typical spring conditions. The groomers were freshly straching up the skate lane. Only two very small bare spots that were easily avoided. Tracks were mostly full depth. Get out there while it lasts!

Skied the virtual Birkie this morning, starting at 7:45. Skating was excellent, with rocket fast corn snow on top of a hard base. The classic tracks looked variable but overall in pretty good shape; the many people who were out classicing seemed to be having a good time. Thanks Paul, for grooming this morning!

Skate deck was re-groomed Saturday night and should be in excellent condition for Sunday. Classic tracks appear to mostly be in pretty good to excellent shape.

Impeccable grooming job; looks to have been completed shortly before I arrived this morning. Conditions just couldn’t be better. Thank you mother nature and thank you groomers! Classic tracks look fantastic too.

All trails groomed and classic tracks set. Skate deck a little soft and some drifting but overall excellent, especially for classic.

Full coverage, except for a few easily avoidable thin spots. A few leaves in tracks, mainly in the woods. A couple of skate skiers whizzed past us on the fresh corduroy. The groomers here are doing a great job.

Great conditions this morning-thanks for the overnight grooming! Joanie and I spent 2 hours skating all the trails since they had set up perfectly. One of our most enjoyable skis of the winter.

Grooming

All skate skiing is good with a thin base, groomers continue to groom and shovel snow on trouble spots. Classic tracks have some areas with vegetation sticking through and you may have to ski around, some areas really good.

Had a very enjoyable early morning skate skiing almost all of the trails with Joanie. Thanks for the grooming last evening and for reporting on it-the trails set up well overnight. Unfortunately, there was one hiker who walked parts of the ski trail system even before we arrived at dawn. Still good conditions overall with some thin spots in the skate lane and tracks.
