Groomed and tracked most of the trails (90%). Snow was very warm so grooming was more difficult but we got through most of it. Hopefully they will hang on through the weekend.

Great pre-sunset ski. Cold but beautiful. Classic tracks were perfect and the skate deck was screaming to be skied. Had the place to myself. Some amazing trails and wonderfully maintained. Once you leave the park the wind is not noticeable. New addition this year is the power line climb, it will get your heart rate up for sure.

Trails are groomed and the classic tracks are set. Trails look the best they have so far this year. Should be very good after another cold night to firm up the snow.

Conditions are good for striding--after we skied the new snow into the track. There is a good two inches of fresh snow on top of the old grooming. This would have to be negotiated for skating. In open areas the old tracks were hard to find due to blown snow. This resulted in our wandering off the designated trail due to scarcity of signs, and our unfamiliarity with this trail system. No issues with woody debris or thin spots--there is plenty snow. It was quite scenic today with snow clinging to the pines. There are relatively few ski trails in this central Wisconsin area, so it is nice to have Coloma available locally.
