Tried the lower loop by the river, lots of trees and branches on the trail that were hard to get around with skis. Had to take skis off to hike through the woods in one area. It doesn't seem like they groom this trail any longer.

This appears to be a snowmobile trail. It is possible to skate ski but you need to dodge snowmobiles and it's very lumpy.
