Tracks good on about 75% of main loop through the golf course. Some areas are drifted or did not have a complete track set. There are a few skied-in tracks off the main loop. Thanks groomers!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Riverside Park's ski trail was freshly groomed this afternoon. The trail starts at the left corner of the golf course parking lot. It is double wide with stride on the left side and skate to the right. The trail is scenic and wanders through the golf course. It is fairly flat with a nice hill at the end.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Riverside trail, groomed about a week ago, has suffered from heavy park machinery used to remove several dead trees. Many parts of the trail were rendered unusable. However, skiers have attempted to reinstate the tracks. Furthermore, our snowmobile is requiring maintenance but should be back sometime early next week. Rough plans call for grooming to happen next Thursday or Friday to be ready for a mild sunny weekend. Will update as details emerge.

Tracks good on ~ 60% of trail, blown in snow on remainder. The skate deck is acceptable in these blown in areas. There is a very deep classic track south of the big hill. I could not tell if it was a skied-in or groomed track.

Considering Fridays wind, great job grooming. A little less than half the tracks had blown in snow but the skate deck was easily skiable.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We groomed the trail today beginning at noon. There was plenty of snow; we did a 9' wide skate deck plus one set of tracks. The tracks are very deep. The skate deck was quite soft, hoping for some overnight firmness. One word of caution--it was rather windy today, which will continue into the night. So there may be spots where the trail suffers from drifting. All in all, things are looking good. Enjoy the trail!
