Notes

Depending on snow conditions, trails vary from 5-15 kilometers of skiing from the Nature Center across the golf course to the campgrounds. Golf course is flat to rolling if groomed. Campgrounds is flat to rolling to hilly with multiple loops created that are skiable in both directions.

Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Frank groomed 5 miles on the golf course, campgrounds, and woods. Early season conditions and soft, but good skiing. Please kick off the sticks and stuff since we couldn't clean up prior to the snowfalls. No classic tracks, just use the skate deck.

Secondhand 
According to Des Moines Nordic Club page, great snowfall but ground too warm to pack down the snow without sticking. Hopefully colder temps ahead will help improve conditions. Still plans for trail cleanup Saturday, December 6.
