Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The full loop was in excellent condition for skating this evening. Hats off to the groomer because, with the new snow additions today on top of a well packed and slightly skied corduroy skating lane, the conditions were as good as they get. No ice whatsoever with a full, wide lane and classic track next to it made for a beautiful evening of skiing on this course. Thank you to the groomer(s) and snow gods!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail groomed up beautifully this afternoon with 3-4 inches of base on the skate deck and a classic track was set. Get out and enjoy it folks.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
I was surprised at how much snow had fallen/accumulated on the trail since it was rolled yesterday. It definitely made a difference to have the rolled surface underneath (Thanks, groomer!) but it was still hard work through the deep areas. Beautiful winter wonderland trees and sweet soft downhills.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Highland 9 was groomed today. There is a 1-2" skate deck, with grass exposure through out. Not enough snow depth for a classic deck. Until we receive more snow. Enjoy it while you can cheers.

A patchy mix of very slippery frozen snow and grippy fresh snow. Both the classic and skate tracks were blown away.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails had been rolled but significantly drifted over. No classic tracks - used the skied-in tracks. Approximately 1 inch base in most spots with occasional grass or asphalt golf paths poking through, yet easily avoidable. Skate deck looked soft but similarly navigable.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
No classic tracks yet, but I skied on the skate trail and it wasn't too bad. Lots of blown snow, but mostly washboard. Looking forward to classic tracks here and on the 18-hole course.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Highland 9 Hole has been rolled. Due to heavy winds it created some bald grass areas. The trail was rerouted a bit. The heavy winds are still upon us, the rolled trails have been blown over, but still visible.
