A great ski at Anvil this morning. Some soft surface on Nine Mile Trail and Lake Loop where there had been less traffic on the weekend. Nice deep tracks everywhere.

We received about 10 inches of fluffy snow this week. All trails on Anvil were rolled, groomed, and tracks were set. The tracks and deck are soft, will hopefully set overnight. There should be about a 10 inch packed base.

Anvil was tracked and groomed this morning. An inch or two of fresh snow freshened up the tracks. The high temperatures made for wet packed snow. The packed base is about 7 inches.

After the most recent snowfall, we finally have enough snow to set track! All of Anvil was groomed and tracks were set on all trails except Devil's run. There is about a 7 inch packed base. Current weather conditions should firm up the trail nicely.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied the military trail, west trail, nine mile trail, and the end of the east trail today. Overall the trails were very soft when I was skiing. I passed the groomer when I was on the trail so hopefully the trails set up better overnight. There was also a decent amount of debris on the trail so some skiing around these larger obstructions may be needed. There were no tracks set on any of the trails for classic skiing, some portions had some tracks set from other skiers skiing in the same path throughout the day but most portions did not have any specific tracks for classic.

We received 6-8 inches of heavy wet snow last night. All of Anvil was rolled today making a packed base of 4 inches. Higher temps made the snow very sticky. Still have inadequate snow to attempt setting track. All trails are open but expect early season conditions.
