Rolled the Red Cedar from Menomonie to the 9 mile mark - about 8 inches of new snow. Went back over trail with Tidd Tech and set tracks on both sides of trail from Menomonie to Irvington and on one side of trail from Irvington to Downsville. Everything should set up nicely with cold night and be in great shape for the weekend.

Tracks are OK, great to get outside and ski! Started in the park off State Road 29 in Menomonie. I went a couple miles out then returned. Not a lot of extra snow but there are skiable tracks on both sides of the trail and enough room for a small area for skating between the tracks.

Snow about 4" to 5" deep. The Red Cedar Trail has been rolled flat for freestyle skiing. Skied both classical and freestyle. The trail has been groomed wider than it normally has been in past years. Expect an occasional small branch in the trail. No bare spots except under the County Road D bridge. Beautiful alongside the river!

Rolled the trail from Menomonie to Downsville. About 6 inches of light snow so it packed down nicely but still quite soft.
