Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
We have been out trying to make a skiable trail with the glorious snow we received this weekend. We have managed to groom and track the Wolf and Moose trail out to the bridge and also the Homestead classical trail. All other trails will get groomed after we nurse all the sore muscles and get our Skandic back on the trail. The drifts kind of did in the machine and the Gator can't pull through the drifts until we pack them with the Ski-doo. Bear with us we hope to be 100% open again shortly. What is opened is in beautiful condition but the deck is still a little soft. See you on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were all groomed and tracked this morning after the little storm on Wednesday. Deck may be a little soft yet but should firm up good after we groom again on Friday. All you Birkie skiers can come over to Mercer for a nice pleasant cool down on your way back home on Sunday. Conditions right now are excellent so get out and ski or shoe before Spring arrives. See you on the trail.

Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Conditions were very good this morning, although that will change with new snowfall. Only issue was a little glazing in the tracks where melting snow from overhead pines dripped onto the trail. This has undoubtedly been submerged by new snow. Groomer told us he plans to re-groom starting at 4 am tomorrow morning.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail is completely groomed after the 10" of snow we received this week. Everything has been gone over at least 2 time and some sections 6 to firm up the deck for the skaters. May still be a little soft but with these conditions it couldn't be better. Track set deep and firm so the classic skiing couldn't be better. See you on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Turtle River Pursuit is over and the trail has been groomed and tracked and in excellent condition. Last weeks 8" of snow groomed into one of the nicest decks we have had in years. The only excuse for not getting out on the MECCA Ski Trail would have to be, just too lazy. See you on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The snow of yesterday was groomed in today and the results are excellent. Both track and deck seemed to bond to the icy base great. We are looking forward to another snow event on Thursday and will be out grooming it early on Friday in preparation for the Turtle River Pursuit on Saturday. I believe conditions will be fantastic for the two day event so bundle up those skis and head up to MECCA for the first leg. See you on the trail.

We were out and groomed today even with the deep freeze coming. Trail came out excellent with good deep tracks and a super fast hard deck. So no excuses not getting out and skiing, but bundle up. Don't forget the Candlite on Saturday evening starting at 5:00 PM.

Icy with debris present. Fast conditions with quick stops from the debris. Difficult classic tracks for beginners, but decent conditions for skate ski.
