Excellent training venue! Sixth wave and further back=perfect mashed potato skiing... just like the Birkie after 1000 skiers! Excellent grooming just lots of traffic but great training. I am a regular and like the variety... smooth corduroy in morning and mashed potato afternoon teaches ski control.

Man made snow covers about 3.5K of the 6K network. Conditions are fast on the transformed snow. The tracks average about 1/2 depth and are solid. The ANC offers a great workout and the staff is super friendly. We're lucky to have this option as we await Mother Nature to kick in! Carpe Skiem!

Got there at 8 AM, trails were groomed and ready to go! 2.5 K loop. Fantastic! Fast and fun! There are 7 short hills on the loop. Nice early season short intervals! The staff is friendly and helpful!

The crews have been working around the clock and as of Sunday they had 3+ K sufficiently covered for great skiing. They had the guns going on the rest of the trails and biathlon range so it should be good to go soon. I had rollerskied on the trails but nothing beats on snow. And the trails are fantastic! Designed with help from John Morton, they are first class, lots of hills and technical turns, just so much fun. Do not skip adding Ariens to your destination list. Because of our tropical weather by the end of my ski some of the steeper uphills were getting a bit sugary, but no more that any non first wave Birkie skier has encountered. There were people in the tracks and they were very happy with the conditions.

Skied a few loops classic and a few skate on what's open at this time. Great to have this resource so close to Green Bay, and the trails are interesting and dynamic. Was not too crowded when we started out mid-morning, with more folks starting to roll in as it progressed. Given that and the slowly warming temps today, conditions are fairly variable throughout the routes - ranging from light and snowy to icy, with periods of soft transformed snow where you might expect (especially on steep downhills/uphills and a few curves). The base on the current open sections is huge - from 2 ft to much more in places. Variability is the name of the game right now. Well worth the short trip.

I was classic skiing and it was hard going, very icy. The classic track was well groomed. The more people that came out it got some what better. But it has a long way to go before I go back.

Tilled man made snow and ice. Some of the corners at the bottoms of the hills were getting rutted by noon, and one or two of the uphills were turning to sugar snow. Overall though, a great first experience skiing there. I will be back, probably tomorrow. They are hard at work making new snow so sometime soon more k's will be open. For man made snow this is much better than the loops at Lapham Peak, mostly because of the constant ups and downs. No giant hills but lots of short steep pitches with turns at the bottom. Fun stuff!
