Kudos to the hard working groomers for their 7 day a week schedule which created perfect conditions again today! We were treated to fresh cord on the yellow and purple trails today! The yellow is tracked on the flat side and the groomer said he wants to do more packing on the hilly side prior to putting in tracks, he is hoping to put those in tomorrow.

All trails were widened, groomed and tracked today and are firming up nicely. It should be a great weekend to ski!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We have two groomers out working today, to catch up from the recent snowfalls. Everything north of 42nd Street has been groomed and tracked. The trails south of 42nd Street have been groomed, but still need to set up so they may be soft.

I skied down the snowmobile trail to get to the yellow trails to find they hadn't been groomed since the last snow fall so there are several inches of snow to get each ski thru. I skied a bit on them anyways because it's so pretty out there with all the snow coated on the trees. But when I got back to the parking lot I skied on the purple trails I believe, and they were pretty fresh groomed. Then I was on the green trails for a bit and I was the first skier on the fresh groomed trails. Beautiful day for a ski!

Kudos to the groomers for getting out there and creating perfection on the green and red trails! The classic track was well defined and the skate lanes fresh cord! Well worth the drive yet again! Get out and ski Superior...they said they will be grooming Saturday and Sunday so trails will stay impeccable!

We skated and classic skied the newly groomed green and red trails around noon today. That 7 day a week grooming is so awesome! The trails had been rolled and most of them tracked, the rest skied in. The snow was coming down hard enough where it covered the fresh cord, but the groomer kept going around so portions of it were fresh again! Kudos to the groomers for giving us trails we can always count on to be freshly groomed!

Skied the red and blue loops and part of the green. Fresh snow from yesterday on skied in tracks on red and green portions. The blue loop is rolled only and set up for multiuse so it would be much better skate skiing or a fun run on racing snowshoes maybe. The skate lanes were all recently groomed but tracks were not set yet today on the portions I did. Beautiful crisp ski, can't wait to do the other loops systems soon.

15 degrees and snowing at Sup Town Muni Trail this morning. Fresh grooming as per protocol made for a sweet skate deck. Skied around green and red several times following the groomer. As he expanded so did I. Though I did ski the Gold ungroomed, as I finished the loop the groomer was heading out on it. Purple still has a few spots where you better pay attention. But I skied it out and back. No damage whatsoever to my best skis.
