Classic skied all of the striding only trails Saturday through Monday, and a few of the striding/skate trails. Conditions were excellent as expected. As always, every km of trail was groomed to perfection, with almost zero debris (I only recall seeing one single oak leaf and two twigs over three full days of skiing!). Tracks were full depth and firm throughout, and there was great coverage on every up and downhill with no rutting. Even with temperatures near freezing, the tracks were fast and fun on every trail we skied. The scenery is absolutely stunning.

Another beautiful day at ABR. About one inch of snow last night. Classic skied wolf tracks, otter slide, sunshine, blueberry and peloton. Peloton was modified to help increase usage of the trail. Two of the long downhills were shortened along with the uphill climb to increase usage of this trail. Based on what I saw it seems to be working.

Temp today was a little below freezing. Another beautiful day. All trails were regroomed last night. Classic tracks perfect, deep. While I did not skate, the skaters reported great conditions.

Beautiful day at ABR. Well groomed trails with spectacular scenery of snow laden trees. Classic skied: wolf tracks, Sunset, Hemlock, Otter slide, Pit point and Peloton. For today only, Eric groomed Peloton so that some of the big hills were downsized. Personally I liked the trail this way since it made it less scary on the descents.

Striding trails were beautiful but a little soft and slow due to the constantly falling snow. Should be even better tomorrow!

There has been consistent light snows over the past week in the area. Skied both classic and skate. Conditions were excellent. Peleton Passout was left ungroomed after a few inches of snow but that was ok and I'm sure they're going to get to it. Everyone gearing up for the Sisu race this weekend. Should be a grand affair, wish I could be there.
