Just coming in from checking trails and scheduling groomers. We groomed 21 km of skating today and 41 km of classic tracks. The skiing was great. Full groom tomorrow again to regroom classics and Pisten Bully power-till trails. The snow is fully transformed as you know so daily grooms are providing skiable tracks and skating. There are many senior recreational skiers here this week and we are providing a skiable service for them and 9-10 AM.

Another great weekend, fresh powder Friday groomed up well Saturday and Sunday. The snow transformed today with 40 degrees and sun but skiers enjoyed skiing from 9-4. We groomed every day and we will be back out grooming tomorrow early morning. It will be important to ask what was groomed before skiing, since it was above freezing today, ungroomed trails will be icy. Check in at front desk before skiing please. 30% off clothing and gloves and wax in the ski shop, demo and rental skis on sale too.

We ran both Bullies yesterday on all the combo trails, "Widetrack" ran all the classics early this morning. The snow is really great! The new snow made it back to winter. 30 % off in the ski shop may be an excuse for heading North.

We groomed up all the combination trails with both Pisten Bullies this morning - about 45 km and we left the classic only trails with a small amount of powder after the snow storm yesterday. The classic only groom team will be in at 6 AM and all 76 km should be perfect for Saturday morning. The Ski Shop is going crazy with the 30% off sale on now.

The trails around us are getting crusty and icy, my wife needs a new pair of skis, so I figured I would get two birds with one stone so we headed to ABR for great groomed ski trails and full service ski shop. We were greeted by Eric, told our skis needs, he quickly figured ski flex and had 3 pairs to test to zero in on best pair. He is a master of figuring out best ski. Mary and I went skiing - we strided Tamarack Two step, Coyote canyon, and River trail. The classic track was amazing- deep and no glazed bottoms. Yum Yum. Skating deck was groomed to perfection as well. When we got back, Eric had Mary's new skis mounted and ready to go. Besides have great prices he has best custom service around. I have bought many skis from Eric and have never been disappointed.

We ran both Pisten Bullies this morning and one classic only groomer. The 3 inches of new cold dry powder groomed up well, we received another dusting after 10 AM when grooming was completed so we will be back out in the morning. The skiers were quite happy. Mark your calendars for the 17th annual Taste of the Trails March 14th from 12-2 at ABR.

Congratulations to all Birkie Skiers - looks like the course and weather were perfect! We groomed up about 50 km today and had great skiing. The benches out on the south winter deck were great and felt like spring, however the skiing in the woods was still cold dry powder. I could not believe it tonight with the pre-grooming/ scouting I did; the groomer was bringing up cold dry powder! A team of 4 groomers will be out very early tomorrow morning to get the trails in tip top shape. Birkie skiers, ask about the 20 % off sale.
