Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails in mostly good condition, just enough snow last enough to set pretty good tracks on most of trails. Lots of oak leaves and a few small sticks on the trails.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
My first time at Deep Portage in the winter. Skied the easy loop a couple of times. Tracks were soft but deep and very intact. Fun, pretty skiing!

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed this evening. Tracks still in decent shape, wish we had a little more new snow. Few patches of debris is oak and mature pine forests but otherwise great. Lots of wolf sign on trails! Tracks groomed: -Beginners Loop. -South Loop. -Middle Loop. -Connectors Loop (90% tracked, east portion from building to bog is packed snow from school programming). -Bass Pond, NEW. I set a pristine classic and skate track on Bass Pond for this weekend. We'll see how long we can upkeep it with programming next week. Enjoy!

We tracked a few trails for classic skiing this morning! They are: Beginners Ski Loop, Connectors loop (check in with front desk to ask where tracks are), Middle Loop, South Loop. Conditions are terrific. Grooming plans: We hope to lay tracks on Bass Pond for classic and skate skis by the weekend, enjoy!
